Textilia was founded in 1969 and specializes in woven and knit fabrics.We are one of the leaders in Colombia for synthetic based wovens and knits.

In 1985, the company expanded to a vertically integrated textile operation by partnering with a spinning mill, who was quickly growing in the industry to be one of the largest spinning mills in Colombia and today is considered the largest and most modern.

The era of the 90´s presented further growth in knits and wovens with new designs, blends,and the ability to achieve better productivity while guaranteeing excellent quality with state of the art technology.

Textilia has an important status in Colombia´s textile market as one of the largest textile mills, and is renowned as being the largest for synthetic based wovens and knits.

We are proud to be a solid company with a great concern and commitment for the social and economic development of Colombia. We have also taken many steps to do our part in helping take care of our planet by working with recycled yarns, as well as changing aspects of our company as a whole, to better the environment such as recycling our own water.
We currently have more than 1000 employees working in our plant of 540,000 square feet.
